Travis J. Westhoven, 30, of Stoutsville, passed away unexpectedly at his residence. He was born October 7, 1986 in Columbus and was a 2005 graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School. Travis was an Iraq War veteran serving in the U.S. Marines. He was currently employed by Keller Farms in Columbus.
He is survived by his mother, Mylia (David) Marshall of Stoutsville; father, James (Rita) Westhoven of Amanda; sisters, Melonie (Gary) Kemmerling of Stoutsville and Emily (Tom) Wears of Amanda; twin brother, Jacob (Sarah) Westhoven of Lancaster; paternal grandparents, Paul and Thelma Dilliard of Lancaster and maternal grandmother, Juanita Bentley of Lancaster. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a step brother, Bryan Marshall and grandfathers, Jim Westhoven and Carl Valentine Jr.
Cremation has been handled with care and a memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
