On the afternoon of July 3, 2023, Terry (T.J.) Miller Jr. tragically passed away, at the age of 34, as a result of a workplace accident.
T. J. was born to Terry Miller of Waverly, OH and Suzanne Miller of Amanda, OH on June 14th, 1989. He worked his career in the construction field, following in his father's footsteps. He met the love of his life, Amber (Wilmoth) Miller, and they were married on November 12, 2011. Together they were raising their children, Andrew (14) and Whitney (4) Miller, in Amanda, OH.
T.J. was a loving husband and father, believing family should, and was, placed ahead of everything else. T.J. would regularly clock out from work and be found coaching his son during baseball or cheering his daughter on during her dance class. Every spare moment, when not working, was spent with his wife and children, not wanting to miss a single second he had to share love and joy. He loved to laugh, either with you or at you, usually from something he had done. T.J. was a known jokester and it was not out of his character to start a prank war just for fun. His humor and laugh will be missed by all who knew him. T.J. had one of the best hearts rescuing, adopting and giving forever homes to his 3 dogs, Katie, Emma, and Max. He believed in being a child at heart, whether that was arguing over the last pumpkin cookie (it was never the last pumpkin cookie) or demanding that he still got his own set of Hot Wheel cars for Christmas as an adult. There are no words to describe the hole that his loss has created.
T.J. is survived in his death by his wife Amber; children Andrew and Whitney; he is also survived by his father, Terry; mother, Suzanne; sister Sonya (Miller) Shapiro and nephew Gabriel "Gabe" Shapiro; nieces: Brooklynn, Temprance, Audrinna, and Ensleigh; nephews, Cody, Beau, and Benny.
"A good heart stopped beating, but a heart that touched so many lives can't help but live on in those it loved." - Abraham Lincoln
And T.J. loved with his whole heart, and we loved him right back.
