Shirley A. Miller, 75, of Lancaster, passed away March 2, 2016 at the Pickering House. She was born to the late Daryl and Hazel (Bullock) Miller on September 26, 1940 Shirley was formerly employed at Anchor Hocking and also worked as a cab driver. She was a big Ohio State Buckeye Football fan.
She is survived by her partner of 33 years, Mary Reid; brother, John Miller; Mary’s children, Renee (David) Hyde, and Bo Reid; 13 grandchildren including Cassie Reid who Shirley and Mary raised. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Chaplain Kermit Welty officiating. Burial to follow in Amanda Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of service on Saturday.
Family request memorial contributions to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
