Sharon Kay Beck

Sharon Kay Beck, age 71 of Lancaster passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born June 10, 1951, in Fairfield County, daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Loring) Blackston. She was a graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School. She worked for many years at Jolly Pirate Donuts and Tim Horton's in Lancaster. Sharon loved roller skating, where she actually met her husband. She also enjoyed bowling, camping, gold mining and she especially loved her dogs.

She is survived by her mother-in-law, Ethel Walters, of Lancaster; children, Shawn (Joanna) Blackston, of Cincinnati, Amy (Tom) Mahon, of Lancaster, and Randy (Mindi Brucker) Beck; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; good friends, Debbie and John Owen. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Beck; and her son, Robert Beck Jr.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Quay officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
