Saundra M. Tipple

Saundra Marie "Sonnie" Tipple, age 58 of Lancaster, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022, at the Pickering House in Lancaster. She was born November 24, 1964, in Lancaster, the daughter of Connie Jo (Cashdollar) Stuart. She was a member of the Lancaster High School class of 1983. After several unfulfilling jobs, she pursued her lifelong dream of becoming a cosmetologist and graduated from The Class Act, Chillicothe, Ohio, in 2004. She recently retired from the Excitation Salon in Lancaster.

She enjoyed time spent at Angler's Paradise with friends - many, many friends. She loved music, dolphins, travel, roller coasters, '80s rock, dry wine, climbing Mt. Pleasant, beaches, and hanging out at Donna & Joe's and Kenny & Rosie's pools (swimsuits optional). She loved being creative, visiting wineries, and hanging out with friends, especially her hairdresser friends. You could see her running the hills near Sugar Grove, and she had a very impressive collection of race medals. She enjoyed participating in the Fairfield County Fair and shopping, especially at T. J. Maxx.

She is survived by her husband, Brian, of 31 years; daughter Katrina Tipple and son Derek (Julia Tennant) Tipple, all of Lancaster; mother Connie Jo Stuart, of Lancaster; sister Donna (Joe) Karoscik, of Pickerington, and brother Mark (Nicole) Stuart, of Bremen; and many nieces and nephews.

At her request, no formal service will be observed. There will be a private celebration of her life at a later point in time. Cremation has been arranged in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral Home.
