Sandra L. Williamson

Sandra L. Williamson, age 80 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born October 22, 1939 in Lancaster, daughter of the late Thomas and Clarita (Kuhn) Rhodes. She retired from Lancaster City Schools as a bus driver after 38 years. She was a hard worker and worked until the day she was physically unable to. She loved the heat and sun of Summer and enjoyed making her house and yard beautiful. She most enjoyed the colors and décor of Fall. It was her favorite time of year and she couldn’t wait to break out her Autumn decorations. She will always be remembered for her humor and stubbornness. She was a cherished confidant to several members of her family.

   She will be missed by her children, Deborah (John) Barrett, of Fredericktown, Vickie Shuff, of Crawley, WV, and Tom (Carrie) Williamson, of Lancaster; grandchildren, Jamie, Audrey and David; great grandchildren, Adam, Michalea, Emily and Reagan; sisters, Patricia Rutter, of Lancaster, and Betty Veverka, of Sarasota, Fl.

   Due to the Coronavirus restrictions, a private service with burial at Drums Cemetery, Thornville has been arranged in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda.

   Friends may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
