Sandy Brentlinger

   Sandra A. “Sandy” Brentlinger, age 76 of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the Pickering House. She was born March 6, 1947, in Torch, Ohio, the daughter of the late Thayer and Lena Mae (Samms) Weekley. Sandy loved crafts, needlework, crocheting, puzzles and gardening. She was extremely proud of the way her flowers looked all around her house.

   She is survived by her children, Brian (Stacy) Brentlinger, Christine (Greg Anderson) Brentlinger, David Brentlinger, Sean (Erin) Brentlinger, Amy Aldridge, and Brandon Brentlinger, all of Lancaster; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Janie Sampson, of Parkersburg, WV; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, David; great granddaughter, Brianna; four brothers and six sisters.

   A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
