Russell E. Robinson

Russell E. Robinson, age 84 of Amanda, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022, at Crestview Manor in Lancaster. He was born December 31, 1937, in Ross County, son of the late Jake and Nevada (Dunaway) Robinson. Russ loved cat fishing and car racing and he was a big fan of Dale Earnhardt. He enjoyed camping at Burr Oak and spending time on the pontoon boat. Russ also was a huge fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals football teams. He owned and operated Robinson Siding for many years with his two sons, Tony and Randy. Russ loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially playing Euchre with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carolyn (Leasure) Robinson; two sons, Randy Robinson, of Amanda and Tony (Jennifer) Robinson, of Circleville; grandchildren, Hillary (Cody) Gumm, Makayla Robinson, Cassie Robinson, and Miranda Robinson; great grandchildren, Adriana, Micah, Kaleb, and Indiyo; brothers, George Robinson and Herbert Robinson; sister, Nancy Robinson; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Nancy Jo Bucy, Betty Coey, and Margaret Hardy; two brothers, Gene and Ed Robinson.

At his request, there will be no formal services observed. Cremation has been arranged in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda.
