Ronald Richard Foster, 64, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at his residence. He was born July 29, 1954 in Summersville, WV. to the late Robert and Virginia (Campbell) Foster. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and was a retired coal miner from the mines of West Virginia
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Erma (Kelly) Foster; 3 special grandsons that he and Erma were raising, Brandon Harris, Levi Foster, and Garrett Foster; children, Greg Kelly, Ronald (Kim) Foster Jr., Jennifer (Joey) Huff, and Jeff (Christina) Foster; grandchildren, Greg, Josh, Kaylee, Samantha, Sierra, Jessi, Brian, Courtney, Ryley, and McKenzie; sister, Agnes (Ballard) Johnson; brothers, Ray (Rose) Foster, Charles (Ann) Foster, James Foster, Roger (Linda) Foster, and Gary (Pam) Foster; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his son, Michael Foster, brothers, Robert and Billy Foster; and sister, Ruth Parker.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Pastor Larry Horn officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by AMVETS Post #2256. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
