Roger Edward Sisler, 77, of Amanda, peacefully went to meet his Lord and Savior January 23, 2025. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and Purple Heart recipient. Roger was a devoted husband to his wife of 56 years, loved his three sons and grandchildren. He was an avid outdoorsman, that loved hunting, fishing, and lawn care.
Roger often was the first one to offer a helping hand in a time of need or quick to tell a joke to make one smile. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Proceeded in death by his parents Roger and Dorothy Sisler, brother Johnny Sisler, sisters, Helen Rose Gohring and Mary Lou Waggoner. He is survived by his wife Mittie Sue Sisler, sons Roger (Robyn) Sisler, Robert (Patty) Sisler, and Ryan (Lindsay) Sisler. Brother Ray (Denise) Sisler, sister Susan (Philip) Beavers. Grandchildren Roger (Taylor) Sisler, Briar (Jessica) Sisler, Amy (Noble) Hendren, Victoria (Austin) Young, Duke, Bristol and McKenzie Sisler. Great grandchildren, Karsynn, Conner, Jaxson, Tate, Daisie, Dixie, Blake, Briar, Waylon, and Dawson.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at the VFW post 3331 in Circleville on January 30th between hours of 1-3. A private interment will be held for the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda.
