Robert "Bob" Ludwick

Robert C. "Bob" Ludwick, age 84, a resident of Amanda, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born August 12, 1940, in Washington Court House, to Glenn and Genevieve (Johnson) Ludwick. He was a graduate of Leesburg High School, class of 1958. Following high school, he attended and graduated in the first class of the Ohio State Barber College. Bob owned Drexel Barber Shop on Drexel Avenue in Bexley for 37 years. He was a member of the Ohio Gun Collectors. In his younger years, he enjoyed water skiing and golf. Later in life, he enjoyed woodworking and photography.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sandra (Mickle) Ludwick; sons, Kevin (Vicki) Ludwick, of Lancaster, and Greg (Rhonda) Ludwick, of Lancaster; grandchildren, Brent and Rachel Ludwick, Michelle (Doug) Wallace, and Lori Beth (Pate) Jones; great grandchildren, Damion Fabbro, and Kaitlyn and Emma Wallace; sisters, Sue Smith, of Hillsboro, Kay Cook, of Mt. Orab, and Jill Downing, of Hillsboro; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda, with Pastor Gerald Mershimer officiating. Burial will follow at Amanda Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
