Robert “Bob” Snoke, age 54 of Pataskala, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023. He was born April 8, 1968, in Lancaster, the son of Robert “Bob” Snoke Sr. and Juanita Benik. He was a graduate of Upper Arlington High School, class of 1986. Following graduation, he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Columbus State. Bob worked for many years in several Columbus area manufacturing and engineering businesses. He had a passion for travelling and working on cars and had restored his own 1973 Hurst Oldsmobile. As a band and music lover, he also enjoyed playing the drums.
He is survived by his parents, Bob (Martha) Snoke, of Lancaster and Juanita Benik, of Cincinnati; son, Justin Snoke, of Columbus; daughter, Megan Snoke, of Newark; siblings, Steven (Debra) Snoke, of Cincinnati, Scott Snoke, of Houston, TX, Tom (Mary Ann) Benik, of Hilliard, Michael Holman, of Marysville, Melissa (Tom) McClure, of Sebastian, FL, and Marla Holman, of Cincinnati; many nieces and nephews; close friend, Red. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mindy (Miller) Snoke; as well other family members, Daniel and Michael Benik, and Debbie Snoke.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 W. Main St., Amanda, with Chaplain Mark Linn officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation has been arranged in the care of the funeral home.
