Robert L. Beach

Robert L. Beach, age 81, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born February 2, 1940, in Erhart, Ohio, son of the late Sidney and Wilma (Wood) Beach. He was a US Army Veteran, serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He graduated from O.S.U. in 1965. Bob was retired from the State of Ohio with 25 years of service. He was a member of New Life Assembly of God in Circleville.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara (Staker) Beach; sons, Theodore Beach, of Framingham, MA and Jonathan (Michele) Beach, of Westerville; grandchildren, Marielle and Ian Beach; brother, Donald Beach, of Medina; six nieces and two nephews. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Frances Lockett and Lois Burkhart.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2021, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 West Main St., Amanda with Pastor Tim McGinnis officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home. The funeral may also be viewed live at the funeral home's Facebook page. A committal service with military honors will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 18, 2021, at Dayton National Cemetery.
