Ray McNabb

Ray McNabb, age 91, of Lancaster, has peacefully finished his earthly journey at Lanfair, surrounded by his family on April 9, 2023. He was born on April 29, 1931, in Amanda, Ohio, to the late Fred and Eva (Johnson) McNabb. He was a member of the Laurelville Church of God. He enjoyed doing stained glass work and taking care of his yard.

He is survived by his three daughters, Linda McNabb, Sharon Dozier, and Barbara McNabb Blankenship, all of Lancaster; grandchildren, Mike McNichols, Lawrie McNabb, Jason (Meghan) McNichols, Travis (Emily) McNichols, Aaron (Debbie) Dozier, Joshua Dozier and Jeremy Blankenship. He is also survived by several great and great great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Don (Sally) Seitz, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years, Mary Lou McNabb; his parents; brother, Dallas (Wanda) McNabb; and sisters, Jean (Clifford) Cox, Audrey (Elgin) Balthaser, Elenora (Homer) Stewart, and Donna (Everett) Blanton; and brother-in-law, Earl (Zelda) Seitz.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2023, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda with Pastor Steve Hayes officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
