Patricia L. Hettinger

Patricia L. Hettinger, 84, of Amanda, passed away on April 14, 2025. Pat was born on May 17, 1940 to the late Harold L. and Elizabeth U. (Miller) Febes in Hocking County. She was the best stay at home mom and always welcomed her childrens friends while raising her own four children in Amanda. Later moving outside of Amanda where Pearl and Pat welcomed 10 grandchildren.

After raising her children, Pat was a home health aide for Valley View Nursing Home for many years. Which she used the experience to care for Pearl after he suffered a stroke.

Pat (Mom) was selfless. Always putting others needs above her own albeit family, friends, siblings, children or neighbors.

Pat enjoyed bingo, cards, a visit to the casino once in a while, family gatherings, the Reds, the Bengals, and watching anything that the grandkids and great grandkids were participating in.

Pat cherished every card or letter, birthday or Christmas, get well or mothers day. She kept each and everyone. Over a lifetime hundreds of cherished bits of love.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pearl Hettinger; long time companion Bob Loy; son is laws Victor Lucus and Steve Daniels; siblings Tom, Chuck, Bob, Leo, Phylis, and Doris; and great grandson, Logan.

Patricia is survived by her children, Wanda (Randy) Rollins, Jill Lucus, Laura (David) Holley, and Jeffrey (Jackie) Hettinger; grandchildren, Troy Daniels (Jenny), Kevin (Olivia) Daniels, Bethany Holley (Ernie), Chris (Jesse) Rollins, Lauren Lucus, Ashley (Will) Walters, Patrick Holley, Jordan (Nicole) Lucus, Zach Hettinger (Sydnee), and Lynn Holley; 18 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.

The funeral will be held at 11am Friday, April 18, 2025 at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 W. Main St, Amanda; friends may call the hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Amanda Township Cemetery.
