Nora Marie Drake

Nora Marie Drake, 94, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Logan Elm Health Care in Circleville.  She was born August 15, 1921 in Rowan County, Kentucky and was the daughter of the late Allie and Louisa (Butcher) Parker.  Nora was a member of Olive Hill U.M. Church in Kentucky and a waitress at the former Buccaneer Restaurant in Lancaster.
She is survived by her children, Louise Christian of Lake Orion, Michigan, Bobby (Patty) Mabry of Hebron and Roy (Cathy) Mabry of Lancaster; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren; brother, Archie (Donna) Parker of Dover, Delaware; sister, Mary Stamper of Bunker Hill, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Drake; daughter, Betty Jean Mabry and brothers, John and Al Parker.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Pastor Bill Weaver officiating.  Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Lancaster.  Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
