Nancy Strait

Nancy L. (Combs) Smith Strait went to be with her Lord on Monday, June 12, 2023. She was born April 25, 1938, to John Lester and Florence (Lutz) Combs, in Lancaster. She was a graduate of Lancaster High School, class of 1956. Nancy worked at Anchor Hocking Plants #1 and #2 for 20 years. She was a member of the VFW Aux., Marine Corps Aux., and Olivedale Senior Center. Nancy liked to fish, hunt, hunt mushrooms, and ginseng. She loved all animals, especially dogs. She missed her dog, "Ace" very much.

She is survived by her son, Terry L. (Becky) Smith, of Lancaster; grandson, Dylan (Brittany) Strawser, of Lancaster; step-sons, Kerry L. (Yong Mi) Strait, of Washington, and Chris Strait, of Gahanna; step-grandchildren, Justin D. Strait, of Arizona and Christy Isabella Strait, of Gahanna; sister, Sue Ann Dennis, of Carroll; numerous brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Donald L. Smith and Larry W. Strait; infant brother, Eugene; mother and father in law, Paul and Jo Smith; brother in law, Don S. Dennis.

At Nancy's request, a private burial will be conducted at Stukey Cemetery, Sugar Grove. Arrangements are in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda.
