Mrs. Ruby E. Creiglow

Ruby E. Creiglow, 85, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born Aug. 18, 1928 in Fairfield County and was the daughter of the late Russell and Tressa (Van Fossen) Bowers. She was retired from Drew Shoe in Lancaster.
Ruby is survived by three brothers, Richard (Mary) Bowers and Paul Bowers both of Lancaster and Robert (Carolyn) Bowers of Somerset; eight sisters, Virginia (Ivan) Kougher and Joann (Ralph) Dilley both of Lancaster, Rosemary (Emmett) Hutchins of Florida, Geraldine (Francis) Miller of Amanda, Dorothy (Floyd) Mills of Lancaster, Betty (Gary) Hillyard of Amanda, Judy (Tim) Payne of Chillicothe and Debbie (Leewood) Rhymer of Stoutsville and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Jim and Cindy Lutz and Jake and Barbara Kilbarger for taking such great care of Ruby over the years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Creiglow and two brothers, Glenn and James Bowers.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Pastor Richie Martin officiating. Burial will be in Amanda Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
The family would like contributions to be made to the American Heart Association in Ruby's memory.
