Mrs. Peggy Ann Martin

Peggy Ann Martin, age 78 of Lancaster passed away September 1, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Fayette County, Ohio to the late Homer and Fayette (Mercer) McConnaughey on May 23, 1935. Peggy is survived by her husband of 48 years Glenn D. Martin; children, Greg (Mindy) Martin of Stoutsville, Angie (Richard) Romines of Stoutsville, and Paige (Larry) Jordan of Newark; grandchildren, Demi Martin, Geric Martin, Brittanie Hewlett, Valerie Romines, Ridge Romines, Zachary Jordan and Isaac Jordan; brothers, Wendell (Helen) McConnaughey of Grove City, Willard "Mac"(Loretta) McConnaughey of New Jersey; and sister Phyllis Slayton of Grove City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 5, 2013, at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow in Dutch Hollow Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
