Mary Alice Thompson, 80 of Amanda, passed away Thursday June 17, 2010 at her residence.
She was born Sept. 26, 1930 in Ross Co. and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Goldie Leasure Danner. Mary is survived by her daughters: Mary ( Don) Justice and Wanda Thompson both of Amanda. Sons: Rick (linda) Thompson of Bremen, Carl L.. Thompson of Amanda, and Tony Thompson of Kingston. Also surviving are two brothers: Junior Danner of Stoutsville and Chancey Danner of Chillicothe. Eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also survive. Mary was preceded in death by her husband: Carl E. Thompson, Daughter, Debra Thompson, Sons: Tom Thompson and David Pritchard, 2 Brothers Edgar and Herb Danner and a Sister Ivy Hines.: A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME IN AMANDA with burial in Green Summit Cemetery in Adelphi. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until time of service on Monday. The family suggests memorial contribution be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
