Coral M. Julian, 93, a resident at Carriage Court and formerly of Amanda, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 8, 2011 surrounded by her loving family at the Pickering House. She was born December 1, 1917 in Pickaway County and was the daughter of the late Kirby E. and Florence (Fosnaugh) Kern.
Coral was a retired Housekeeping Supervisor at Fairfield Medical Center. She was a dedicated, loving mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and friend who served the community in countless ways and was a devoted member of the Amanda Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by four sons, Gary (Carolyn) Julian and C. Edward (Carren) Julian both of Amanda, Donald (Tonya) Julian and Keith (Marlene) Julian both of Lancaster; daughter, Charlene (Bill) Geraghty of Florida; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; sister, Agnes (Joe) Conrad of Lancaster and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Nancy (Thomas) Ebbrecht, Virginia (Paul) Guisinger and Bette Gordon; brother-in-law, Glen Julian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Julian; son, Richard Julian, brother, Donald Kern and a sister, Jennie Hammitt.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Rev. Julian Taggart officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions made to Amanda Presbyterian Church or FairHope Hospice in Coral's memory.
