Mrs. Arleta "Tillie" Cordle
February 2, 1930 — April 22, 2013
Arleta S. "Tillie" Cordle, 83, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013 at Heartland Fairfield Nursing Home. She was born February 2, 1930 in Rockbridge and was the daughter of the late Oliver and Audrey (Lindsey) Ogg.
Arleta is survived by three sons, Terry (Nancy) Cordle of Stoutsville, Dale (Donna) Cordle of Lancaster and Robbie (Connie) Smith of Obetz; 24 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Cordle; four sons, Gary, Randy, Brian and Rick Cordle; daughter, Karen "Kitt" Dillie; grandson, Terry Allan Cordle Jr.; four brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Aaron Cordle officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
