Mrs. Alice Marie Parker

Alice Marie Parker, 87, formerly of Stoutsville, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born September 18, 1923 in Wren, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Marion Franklin and Julia Rebecca (Rhodes) Crates. She was a life long member of Cedar Hill Calgary U.M. Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen Justice of Carroll; four grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; sister, Wilma (James) Connely of Florida and a son-in-law, Joe Pence of Stoutsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings William Parker; daughter, Beverly Pence; brothers, Clarence Priddy and Marion Crates Jr. and a sister, Deloris Reese.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at CEDAR HILL CALGARY U.M. CHURCH with Pastor Terry Borah officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda.
