Mr. Nathan R. Lyle Sr

Nathan R. Lyle, Sr., 70, of Laurelville, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010. He was born Oct. 10, 1939 in East Liverpool and was the son of the late John Edward and Wilma Alberta (Rousch) Lyle. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired truck driver with nearly 50 years experience with over a million miles of driving without an accident. He attended New Life Assembly of God and a member of the Teamsters.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sue (Clay) Lyle; daughters, Penny (Matt) Schall of Circleville and Lee Ann (Terry Caudill) Lyle of Columbus; son, Nathan R. (Tarra) Lyle, Jr. of West Virginia; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brother, Louis (Shirley) Lyle of Michigan; sisters-in-law, Nancy Robertson of West Virginia and Patricia (George) Mekosh of Pennsylvania; brothers-in-law, Dana (Brenda) Clay and Dicky (Sandy) Clay both of West Virginia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Lyle and a brother-in-law, Ronald Clay.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the New Life Assembly of God, 7766 Stoutsville Pike, Circleville, Ohio with Pastor Tim McGinnis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery in Circleville with military honors provided by AMVETS Post #2256, Circleville. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda and one hour prior to the service at the church.
