Donald Mack Timmons, 77, of Amanda, passed away Monday, May 8, 2012 at Berger Hospital. Mack was born June 16, 1934 in Pickaway Co., Ohio and was the son of the late Harold and Ethel (Welch) Timmons. He was retired from International Multi Foods (now Con-Agra) in Columbus. He was a member of the Pickaway Co. Coon Hunters Assoc.
Mack is survived by three sons, Richard Timmons of Rockbridge, Terry (Terri) Timmons of Amanda and Scott Timmons of Stoutsville; three daughters, Dianna (Steve) Lowe of Amanda, Joy (Sue) Timmons of Colorado and Laurie Cotton of Amanda; grandchildren, Allison, Richard, Raymond, Rackel, Hannah, Tiffany, Dustan, Brittany, Matthew, Caleb, Devon and Trevor Timmons, Krista Morrison, Brittany Gicie, Sarah Darst, Tracy Williams, Christopher and Keisha Cotton, Stephen and Chad Lowe; great grandchildren, Cody, Cole, Logan and Austin Lowe, Shayla and Ashley Morrison, Nathan Williams, Lillian Stanley, Keyaira and Raymond Rosado and Bentley Gicie; two brothers, Gene (Sandy) Timmons and Ernie (Roberta) Timmons; three sisters, Florence (Bob) McFarland, Patsy (Dave) Doyle, Betty (Larry) Young and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Timmons; son, David Frost and grandson, Timothy Frost.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Pastor Paul Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Amanda Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family would like contributions to aid with expenses.
