Buddy E. Lynn, 76, of Carroll, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born May 22, 1937 in Lancaster and was the son of the late Ernest and Garnet (Marshall) Lynn. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and spent 17 years in the National Guard. He was a retired machinist from Diamond Power, member Fairfield Fish and Game and NRA. Past member of F.O.E. #2120 and VFW #1516.
He is survived by his daughters, Pam Blair of Lancaster and Tiffeny (Matt) Richardson of Johnstown; grandchildren, Kenneth (Angela) Blair of Carroll, Matthew Blair of California, Kashmir Hayes and Brandie Blair both of Lancaster, Taylor Snider, Keelan and Samantha Richardson all of Johnstown; great grandchildren, Isabella Blair, Natalie Renz, Matthew Sparkman, James and Ryan Hayes; brother, Terry Lynn of Lancaster; aunt and uncle, Rita and Dave Sater of Lancaster and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his best friend Lucy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Anna Lynn.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Rev. Liz Tietz officiating. Burial will be in Amanda Twp. Cemetery with military honors. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
