Michael Stoneburner

Michael G. Stoneburner, age 68, of Amanda, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024, at the Pickering House. He was born July 10, 1956, in Lancaster, to Glen and Kathleen "Kate" (Cordle) Stoneburner. Mike was a graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School, class of 1974. He was retired from Clearcreek Township with 35 years of service. He enjoyed working on and restoring classic cars and time spent with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sonia (Kull) Stoneburner; children, Alesha (Joe) Risch, of Circleville and Layla Stoneburner, of Canal Winchester; grandchildren, Olivia (Mason) Knox and Riley Riffle; great granddaughter, Harper Knox; sisters, Carol (Mike) McFarland, of Circleville and June Love, of Lancaster; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Joseph.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda, with Pastor Chris Hildenbrand officiating. Interment will follow at Amanda Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
