Merry Lee Walters

Merry Lee Walters,  age 59 of Lancaster, passed away Sunday,  May 3, 2015, at the Pickering House. She was born June 1, 1955, in Washington DC to the late George and Edna (VanDyke) Wilson. Merry Lee worked at Ohio University-Lancaster for over 28 years, most recently as the Administrative Assistant to the Associate Dean.  
She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Robert E. Walters Jr.; children, Robert  (Ashley) Walters, Michelle Walters, Jennifer (Jon) Markwood; grandchildren, Isabella and Camden Walters, Taylor Davis, Paige and Grace Reliford, Jayna, Jakob and Jack Markwood; sisters, Patricia Russell, Beverly Lutz and  Bonnie Wilson; nieces and nephews, Michael Tipple, Lori Stevens, Monica Watts, Heidi Raymond, David and Andrew Lutz; and many wonderful friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 7, 2015, at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda.  Burial to follow in Amanda Twp. Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Pickering House, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, OH 43130 in Merry Lee’s memory.
She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and tremendously enjoyed her work. Merry Lee will be missed by many and loved by all.
