Lee Casey

Meriable "Merb" Lee Casey, age 90 of Lancaster, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023, at the Pickering House in Lancaster. He was born December 15, 1932, in Gallia County, Ohio, and then raised in Apple Grove, WV, the son of the late Thomas and Sophia (Long) Casey. In 1978, he founded Casey's Radiator Service in Lancaster which operated until 2017. In his younger days, he loved to garden. He enjoyed travelling with his wife and time spent with his family. He especially liked listening to live country and bluegrass music.

He is survived by his son, Carl Casey of Amanda; grandchildren, Eric (Stephanie) and Brian (Julie) Casey, and Ashley (Jeff) Swisher; great grandchildren, Austin, Emma and Colin Casey; sister-in-law, Esther Casey, of Apple Grove, WV. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma; daughter, Shirley Jane Casey; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Casey; and all of his brothers and sisters.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2023, at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda.
