Larry Keith Sanson, age 66, of Stoutsville, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. He was born September 14, 1954 in Phelps, Kentucky and was the son of Anthony and Corrine (Eldridge) Sanson Jr. He was a private contractor that installed mobile homes for many years for Elsea Mobile Homes. His passion was music, bluegrass specifically. He was a guitar player, singer and song writer. He formerly played for The Bluegrass Alliance and toured all over the country.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Vivian (McComas) Sanson; his father, Anthony Wayne Sanson, of Stoutsville; children, Michael (Everiae) Sanson of Stoutsville, Holly (B.J.) Amerine of South Bloomingville and Tony (Brooke) Sanson of Columbus; grandchildren, Travis Amerine, Carley Amerine, Kenzie Sanson; sister, Darlene Robinson of Stoutsville; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother; grandson, Brody Amerine; brother-in-law, Carl Robinson.
A funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the Taylor-Theller Funeral Home in Amanda with Rev. Lynn Summers officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester. Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until time of service on Thursday.
