Larry R. Pinkstock, age 71, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born March 1, 1950, in Lancaster, son of the late Harvey and Edna (Dressing) Pinkstock. He was a graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School, class of 1968 and was retired from Anchor Hocking with over 35 years of service. Larry was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and the Rushville Lions Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, Euchre and was an avid stamp and coin collector.
He is survived by his daughter, Maria A. (Craig) Cottrill of Lancaster; grandchildren, Ashton J. Myers, Morgan A. (Marshall) Miller, Kaitlin (Brandon) Davis and Aidan Cottrill; great grandchildren, Cason and Aleah Sparks, Maylee and McCoy Miller; sister, Sharon (George) Wilson; brothers, Steve (Jennifer) Pinkstock and Don (Dana) Pinkstock; many nieces and nephews; Janice Spencer, with whom he spent time with. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Susan (Wisecup) Pinkstock; sons, Anthony and Jeffery Pinkstock.
A Celebration of Life will be held starting at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, September 23, 2021, at the K of P Hall in Stoutsville where a brief service will begin at 5:30 p.m. and a visitation time to follow. Cremation has been arranged in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
