Larry Fannin, age 74 of Amanda, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Pickering House in Lancaster. He was born September 16, 1949, in Circleville, Ohio, son of the late Arnold and Ann (Stephens) Fannin. He was a graduate of Logan Elm High School and then served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Larry loved riding his motorcycle and woodworking. He enjoyed time spent with his family and camping. Larry was dedicated to helping his sister Pat, picking up donated food pantry items.
He is survived by his children, Missy Abernathy, of Chillicothe, Stacy (Janice) Fannin, of Lancaster, Tina (Cody Hamilton) Fannin, of Logan, Shannon (Rick) Spencer, of Amanda and Wade (Heather Thatcher) Fannin, of Amanda; 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; sister, Pat Barr, of Circleville; extended family, Dewy S., Steve M., and Steve H. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandy; sister, Linda; brothers, Kenneth and Wayne.
In keeping with Larry's wishes, cremation has been arranged in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Shannon's home, 9750 Chillicothe-Lancaster Road, Amanda.
