Joseph William "Joe" Hoagland, 32, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Berea on Friday, May 31, 2024. He was born on March 8, 1992, in Columbus, Ohio. Joe was a 2011 graduate of Lancaster High School, and a 2015 graduate of Cincinnati Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry, with a Preaching and Congregational Ministry Concentration. He was ordained into the Christian Ministry in December 2014. Joe received a Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership from Central Christian College of the Bible in 2022. He served as the Associate Pastor at several Ohio churches, and was currently the Director of Operations for Kainos Leadership Network, and the Executive Pastor at Lake City Christian Church in Middleburg Heights, Ohio.

Joe was a devoted Christian husband, father, and son. He is survived by his loving wife, Jenna, his precious children, Aryella Marin and Luka William, with a baby due in July. He is also survived by his parents, Paul and Debra Hoagland, brother Timothy (Brielle) Hoagland and their son, Everett, his twin sister Rebecca (Jacob) Shepard, sister-in-law Madison Thompson, brothers-in-law Jakob Coss, and Jordan (Becca) Coss and their children, Jaxon and Lincoln, brothers-in-law Dominick and Draedan Thompson, his in-laws, Jennifer and Jodie Coss and John and Brooke Thompson, and his grandmother, Martha Kelly. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Kelly, and Paul and Hilda Hoagland, Sr.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Frontline Church of God, 5195 Amanda Northern Road, Amanda, OH 43102 with Pastor Trevor Littleton officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda.
