Jonathan Richard Schwenk

Jonathan R. "Jon" Schwenk, age 38, of Lancaster and originally of Heath, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at his residence. He was born on March 8, 1984, in Conway, South Carolina, the son of Michael and Rosemin Schwenk. If anyone knew him, they knew that he loved and laughed fiercely. He always just wanted to be happy and for those around him to be happy. He could turn any serious moment or seriousness into laughter and fun. He loved music, fishing, reading, anime cartoons, video games, and basketball, but most of all, he loved his family and friends. He would do anything for anyone he loved. He was the hardest worker of anyone we knew and would put 110% into anything he set his mind into doing well. Unfortunately, one of the things his brain taught him to love, even though he tried his hardest to let go of, eventually took his life. He will always be remembered as the good hearted, fun-loving man everyone knew and loved ever so deeply.

He is survived by his parents; his children, Eli and Shawnessy Schwenk; sisters, Tasha Bluhm, of Columbus, and Teresa (Joe) Bales, of Heath; brother, Micaiah Schwenk, of Heath; two nephews, Waylon and Austin Bales; grandmas, Justine Schwenk, of Granville and Corazon Herrera, of Heath; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A private celebration of Jon's life will be held at the convenience of his family. Cremation has been arranged in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda.
