Joe Pierce

Joe was born at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio to parents Kristina Louise Pierce and Michael Lee Moyer. He spent a month in Nationwide Children's Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit after being born and was considered a little fighter.

He went to heaven surrounded by his loving family on May 16, 2023, and is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, James (Carolyn) Dixon of Newark and maternal great-grandparents, Ralph E. (Amy) Hall of Hebron, as well as paternal great-grandparents, Paul (Catherine) Ledgette.

Joe is survived by his loving parents, Kristina L. Pierce and Michael L. Moyer; brother, James "Little Man" Pierce; sister, Amy Sue Dixon; godparents, Christina Mansell and James J. Pierce; special family friend, Daniel Moore.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 W. Main St., Amanda. Interment will follow at Amanda Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
