Joan F. Tucker, 79, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the Pickering House. She was born May 17, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Walter and Wilma (Defoe) Crossland.
She is survived by her children, Scott (Trish) Tucker of Lancaster, Robert Jr. (Robin) Tucker of Sugar Grove, and Beth Conrad of Lancaster; grandchildren, Electra, Alicia, Blaine, Brittany, Lindsey, Elizabeth, Michelle and Lauren; great grandchildren, Jacob, Gabriel, Cameron, Tiffany, Matthew, Makayla, Malia, Brooke and Jonathan; with great grandchild Bryden to enter the world in the very near future. In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husband Robert; brothers Robert Harper and Paul Cossland; sister, Hazel Kelly; and son-in-law Mike Conrad.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, December 15, 2014 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial to follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.
The family request memorial contributions to the Pickering House, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 in Joan’s memory.
