Joan Ruth Schumacher

Joan R. Schumacher, 82, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Fairfield Medical Center.  She was born February 21, 1936 in Fairfield County and was the daughter of the late John and Bertha (Hicks) White.  She attended Blessed Hope Bible Church.
Joan is survived by her son, John Schumacher of New Martinsville, WV; grandsons, John and Jory; granddaughters, Cassie and Tara; sisters, June Norman of Amanda, Evelyn (David) Miller of Circleville and Irene Vance of Columbus and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; son, Kenneth and four brothers, John Hicks, Bill, Carl and Dick White.
A grave side service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Amanda Twp. Cemetery with Pastor Todd Hautala officiating.
