Jo Anne Ebert, age 81, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born September 18, 1940, in Reese Station, Ohio to the late Earl and Pearl (Farmer) Hardbarger. She had worked for C.E. Glass and Hordus Brothers in Lancaster and then TS Trim in Canal Winchester. Jo Anne was a member of the Royalton Community Church. She was longtime member of the Golden Girls Club. She loved time spent with family and friends especially time filled with laughter.
She is survived by her daughters, Diana Hubbard, Tammy (Steven Stanton) Hedges, and Christy (Nicholas) Fitz, all of Lancaster; grandchildren, Chad (Tami) Hedges, of Alaska, Emily (Jake) Morgan, of Logan, Drake (Savauna) Fitz and Alexis (Christian Valentine) Fitz, both of Lancaster; 5 great grandchildren plus one on the way; sisters, Linda Moore, of Pickerington and Joyce Patton, of Rockbridge; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Linda Roark and Phyllis McKenzie. She is preceded in death her parents; brothers, Mark and Lee Hardbarger; sisters, Bernice Tennihill and Ruth Brown.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 20, 2021, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda with Pastor Larry Horn officiating. Interment will follow at Amanda Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Friends may make memorial contributions to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or to the charity of the donor's choice.
