Jeffrey Foster

Jeff Foster, age 44 of Stoutsville, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Fairfield Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born January 28, 1980, son of Erma (Kelly) Foster, of Stoutsville and the late Ronald Foster. Jeff was a graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School, class of 1999. Shortly after graduation, he started his lifelong mining career with Shelly Materials, where he worked side by side with his two brothers, Ron and Michael Foster for many years, before Michael's passing in 2016. Jeff had a passion for fixing anything that needed mechanical repair. He loved the challenge, but most of all, he loved helping people. Jeff's proudest moment in life was when he became a PawPaw in December of 2021 and soon to be again in July 2024.

He is survived by his mother; wife of 25 years, Christina (Merritt) Foster; son, Ryley Foster, of Covington, KY; daughter, McKenzie (Tyler Armstrong) Foster, of Stoutsville; granddaughter, Remington Lee Armstrong; expected grandson, Ruger Jeffrey Armstrong in July of 2024; his three nephews whom he loved like his own sons, Brandon Harris, Levi Foster, and Garrett Foster, all of Stoutsville; brothers, Ron (Kim) Foster, of Stoutsville, Greg (Nicole) Kelly, of Logan; sister, Jennifer (Joe) Huff, of Elkview, WV; several nieces and nephews; lifelong friends, Adam Griffith and Randy Dollison. He is preceded in death by his father; and brother, Michael Foster.

A visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda. Funeral service be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Larry Horn officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville.

In lieu flowers, Jeff's family requests that any memorial contributions in his name be made to the Royalton Community Church, P.O. Box 307, Amanda, OH 43102.
