James H. Love

Jim Love, age 61, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at his home. He was born January 28, 1960, in Harrisburg, the son of the late Harvie and Margie (Williams) Love. Jim was a graduate of Hilliard High School and then he enlisted into the Army. He served for 21 years before his retirement. Jim enjoyed riding his four-wheeler and walking in the woods. He loved time spent with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Tina (Sigler) Love; sons, Sheridan Love, of Columbus and Mark (fiancée Elizabeth Thacker) Love, of Lancaster; grandson, Nicholas Thacker; sisters, Mary (Tom) Bailey, of Waverly and Jean Ross, of Pickerington; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lindsey Love; brother, Harvie Ray Love; sister, Carol Ann Lewis; brother-in-law, Tom Ross.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda. Interment with military honors will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The funeral may also be viewed live at the funeral home's Facebook page.
