Ivan L. Kougher

Ivan L. Kougher, 89, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Crestview Manor Nursing Home. He was born on June 20, 1927 in Amanda and was the son of the late John and Anna (Bussert) Kougher. Ivan was a 1947 graduate of Amanda High School and was retired from Lennox Industries in Columbus.
He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Sue (Rick) Arthur of Lancaster; granddaughters, Julie Romine and Janette (Chad) Walker; great grandchildren, Rachel Walker, Isabella Azbell, Ayden and Isaac Darst. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Kougher; five brothers and three sisters.
Cremation is being handled with care by the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda. No services will be observed.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Crestview Manor and FairHope hospice for the care Ivan received.
