Helen L. Frayer, 58, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 at Homestead Center surrounded by her family. She was born June 2, 1956 in Williamson, West Virginia and was the daughter of Floyd and Helen (Hayes) Estepp. She was a registered nurse and ordained minister through the Church of God.
Helen is survived by her husband, Ed Frayer; mother, Helen Estepp of Stoutsville; children, Jody (Laura) Estepp of Lancaster, Jeremy (Dawn) Frayer of Florida and Katherine (Josh) Dearwester of Amanda; grandchildren, Josh, Jessica, Jody Jr., Amanda, James, Amber, Matthew, Makayla and Brayden; sister, Anita (Dennis) Picklesimer of Stoutsville; brother, Mike Estepp of Lancaster and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; daughter, Sugar Lynn Frayer; sister-in-law, Judy Estepp and a nephew, John Estepp Jr.
It was Helen's wishes that cremation be handled with care by the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda. No visitation will be observed, however, inurnment will take place at a later date in Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville. It was also Helen's wishes that contributions be made in her memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
