Gloria L. Clendenen, 84, of Lancaster, passed away Tues., Feb. 16, 2010 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born May 30, 1925 in Lancaster and was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Sylvia (Moore) Hussey. Gloria was a teacher's aide for Amanda Clearcreek Elementary for 10 years and a charter member of Cross Pointe Freewill Baptist Church in Lancaster.
She is survived by her children, Anita (Aaron) Harper of Lancaster and Michael (Janet) Clendenen of Oakthorpe; grandchildren, Any (Christine) Harper of Grove City, Dr. Holly Harper of Powell, Nicole (Ken) Jacobson of Los Angeles, California and Rachel (Shad) Draper of Pleasantville; great grandchildren, Hayley and Veronica Harper, Isabella Scott, Donnelly and Sage Jacobson and Hannah Draper; three brothers, Ron (Jane) Hussey of Lancaster, Frank (Carol) Hussey of Columbus and Tim (Karen) Hussey of Martin, Tennessee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Emil Clendenen.
A grave side service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Amanda Twp. Cemetery with Pastor Bill Pitts officiating. No calling hours will be observed.
