George E. Seymour

George E. Seymour, age 97 of Amanda, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022, at Logan Elm Healthcare Center in Circleville. He was born July 17, 1925, in Ross County, son of the late Sam and Minnie Seymour. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Anchor Hocking in Lancaster. George was also a member of the Oakland United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his children, John (Pat) Seymour, of Columbus, and Harold E. Seymour, of Amanda; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Arnetta; parents; daughter, Sharon Comer; several brothers and sisters.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have made in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral Home.
