Everett R. Wade, age 78 of Ray and formerly of Amanda, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021, at the Four Winds Community in Jackson. He was born January 11, 1943, in Pleasantville, the son of the late Stanley and Forrest (Lisk) Wade. He was a retired truck driver for 40 years. Everett loved John Deere tractors and had participated in many tractor pulls in his younger days.
He is survived by his children, Randy (Linda) Wade, of Lancaster, Rhonda Bartlett, of Ray, Regina (Phil) Walker, of Anna, and Relinda (Keith) Kessler, of Amanda; grandchildren, Amber (Christian) Tryon, Michael (Tiffany) Hedrick, Josh (Julie) Hicks, Landon Spangler, Haley (fiancé Alan Randolph) Hedrick, Phillip Walker, Wade Kessler, and Toni Bartlett; 12 great grandchildren; brother, David (Jean) Wade, of Kentucky; sister, Nancy (Gene) King, of Somerset; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary (McNutt) Wade; son-in-law, Tom Bartlett; grandson-in-law, James Kimple; great grandson, Jaxon Tryon.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
