Edna Marie DeVault

Edna M. DeVault, 100, formerly of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 at McCafferty Adult Care Facility in Pleasantville. She was born November 13, 1913 in Columbus and was the daughter of the late Harry P. and Effie E. (Nonnmacher) Leiendecker.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lancaster.
She is survived by a son, John L. (Sherry) DeVault of Granville, daughter, Judy Boyer of Pleasantville; daughter-in-law, Flo Desmone of Heath and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Kennedy and Lowell DeVault and a son, Jim DeVault.
A grave side service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Green Lawn Cemetery in Columbus with Chaplain Linda Ward officiating. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 20 at McCafferty Adult Care Facility in Pleasantville.
The family would like any contributions to be made to FairHope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130 in Edna’s memory.
