Earl Fauble

Earl L. Fauble, age 90 of Amanda, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. He was born May 9, 1934, in Lancaster, the son of Ernest and Norma "Irene" (Tucker) Fauble. He was a graduate of Lancaster High School and then served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Lancaster Glass where he started working in high school and earned his way up to become the lead machinist. Earl owned and operated Fauble's Machine Shop LLC for many years in Amanda. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, cutting firewood and Gravely tractors. He custom made repair and replacement parts for International Tractors. Even at 90, he still enjoyed playing video games.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn (Miller) whom he married on November 11, 1966; daughter, Joy Fauble, of Logan; grandson, Robert "Tyler" (Savanna) Lawson, of Lancaster; great granddaughters, Ashlynn and Annalie Lawson; sister, Nancy (David) Eyman, of North Carolina; sisters in law, Evelyn Miller, of Gahanna and Donna Miller, of Lancaster; nieces and nephews, David, Doug, Laura, Tim, Karen, Miles, Linda, Larry, Brenda, and Teri; special family friends, Bill and Jodie Poor, Margie Post, and Candace (Todd Matz) Lee. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Evelyn "Mert" (Ray) Shull and Lois (Warren) Martin; nephew, Alex Eyman; mother and father in law, Eldo and Pauline Miller; brother in law, Robert Miller; sisters in law, Marjorie (Bill) Grooms and Betty "June" Miller.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2024, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial contributions to any organization that supports veterans.
