Donna Mae O'Hara, 87, passed peacefully in her home in Winter Haven, Florida on July 27,2021.
She was born May 21,1934 in Fairfield County, Ohio in her grandmother's home. Donna was the daughter of the late Donald and Nellie O'Hara. She worked for the State of Ohio with the disabled at Orient State Institute and then The Ohio Reformatory for Women as a vocational instructor. After she retired, she moved to Winter Haven, Florida, enjoying the warm weather. Donna had many hobbies including cooking, reading, knitting, and she loved to sew. She loved being with her family, traveling and going to the beach.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Tamalyn (Bill) O'Hara, Jill Smith, and Carol (Rick) Clary. She is preceded in death by her son, Thomas (Connie) Fullen. She was the dear grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Maralyn Shreve and Jean Mahaney.
Seigler Funeral Home in Florida is preparing her for her journey home to Ohio. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2021 at Amanda Township Cemetery under the direction of Taylor-Theller Funeral Home.
