Donald B. Werner, Jr.

        Donald B. Werner Jr., 87, of Rockbridge, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the
Pickering House in Lancaster. He was born January 6, 1931 in Hocking County. Donnie retired from Eastside Nursery, and later went on to work for Marvin Sharp, as well as other jobs in the construction industry. He enjoyed being outdoors in the woods, and had a love of animals.
        Donnie was one of seven children, four brothers and two sisters. He was preceded in death by Rose Rutter who raised him. A special thank you to Teresa and James Azbell for their friendship, dedication, and care of Donnie over the years.
        Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Rev. Jack Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
