Curtis Wisecup

Curtis S. Wisecup, age 69, born August 15, 1955, passed peacefully on February 11, 2025. He was a Barber for over 30 years; over 25 of those were spent at the Zane Plaza Barber Shop. Curtis built friendships and clients that were loyal and long lasting. He attended the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ In Christian Union in Chillicothe and had a strong faith. He enjoyed short weekend getaways, taking pictures of nature, hiking and reading; Curtis loved to read. Something many didn't know was that Curtis was a Double Black Belt in Jujitsu. He served a short time in the Navy, receiving the NDS Medal. Although Curtis never married, he did get kicked out of a nursing home for being too flirty with the ladies!

Curtis is survived by his niece, Maria (Craig) Cottrill; nephew, Anthony (Stephanie) Wisecup; great-nephew, Ashton Myers and great-niece, Morgan (Marshall) Miller; great-nieces, Aqua, Alexa and great-nephew, Axel Wisecup; great-great nieces Aleaha and Maylee and great-great nephews, Cason and McCoy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel (Robert) Harrison; father, Edward Wiscup; sister, Susan & Larry Pinkstock; brothers, Carrie Wisecup and Larry "Deano" Wisecup.

A celebration of Life will be planned for the Spring or early Summer. Cremation has been arranged in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda.
